Anthropological study on the mode of Coexistence through “food”

Edible birds nests (EBN) have been consumed as medical, supritual food among Chinese women in mainland China and communities of Chines overseas in the woald for centuries. This study aimed to clarify how EBN have been used to maintain and/or break off “family” tie in society of Chinese ocerseas in Southeast Asia.
